Privacy stays on your side of the tape.

Last updated: August 27, 2026. Audio Gap Loop is designed to work without an account. Your imported audio, transcripts, settings, practice history, queue, presets, and license token are stored locally in your browser.

What leaves your device

The app does not upload your audio, transcripts, or practice history. If you verify a Studio license, the license token is sent to the Sociobot billing API solely to check whether it is valid. Buying Studio takes you to Sociobot/Dodo’s hosted checkout, whose own privacy terms apply.

Local storage

Clips and practice logs use IndexedDB. Preferences and license state use localStorage. The service worker caches the application shell so it can work offline. Clearing site data deletes these records; export a JSON backup first if you want to keep them.

Analytics and children

This version includes no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, behavioral profiles, or child accounts. A parent or guardian should choose and manage any audio used by a child.

Your controls

You can export your data from the workbench, delete individual clips and their logs, or clear all site data in your browser settings. For privacy questions, email privacy@sociobot.in.
